Managing Connected Accounts
Viewing Account Status
Each connected account shows its current status:
- Connected - The account is active and ready to use
- Needs Reauthorization - The connection has expired and needs to be refreshed
- Error - There's an issue with the connection
Disconnecting an Account
To disconnect a social account:
- Go to Settings → Social Accounts
- Find the account you want to disconnect
- Click the Disconnect button
- Confirm the disconnection
Disconnecting an account will cancel any scheduled posts for that account.
Reauthorizing an Account
Social media platforms periodically require you to reauthorize third-party apps. When this happens:
- You'll see a notification in Masoko
- Go to Settings → Social Accounts
- Click Reauthorize next to the affected account
- Complete the authorization flow
Account Limits
The number of social accounts you can connect depends on your plan:
| Plan | Social Accounts |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 accounts |
| Pro | 10 accounts |
| Business | Unlimited |
See our Billing page for more details on plans.
Troubleshooting
"Authorization Failed" Error
This usually happens when:
- You cancelled the authorization process
- The social platform is experiencing issues
- Your browser is blocking pop-ups
Try again and ensure pop-ups are allowed for masoko.io.
Account Shows "Needs Reauthorization"
This is normal and happens periodically. Simply click Reauthorize and complete the authorization flow again.
Posts Not Appearing
If scheduled posts aren't appearing on your social accounts:
- Check that the account is still connected
- Verify the post was scheduled for the correct account
- Check the post status in your calendar
